Como lo prometí, estoy creando 19 fan arts dedicados a los personajes elegidos por los artistas que ingresaron al 3er Mangatico Art Budokai [link] y he decidido comenzar con Strawberry Shortcake.
Strawberry Shortcake es un popular personaje infantil de origen estadounidense, dirigido especialmente a las niñas. Es conocida en México como Rosita Fresita, en Argentina y Chile como Frutillitas, en Venezuela, Perú y Colombia como Fresita y en España como Tarta de Fresa.
Como el Mangatico Art Budokai es un torneo de combate imaginario entre los personajes elegidos, he decidido hacerla más crecida y darle un espíritu guerrero sin perder su característica ternura.

As I hade promised, I'm working in 19 fan arts dedicated to the selected characters by the artist that entered to the 3th Mangatico Art Budokai [link] I begun with Strawberry Shortcake.
Strawberry Shortcake is a licensed character owned by American Greetings, originally used in greeting cards and expanded to include dolls, posters, and other products.
As the 3th Mangatico Art Budokai is a tournament in which the selected characters has simulated combats, I decided give her a combat spirit, without losing her innocent appeal.
